Al Sisi’s Resurgent Egypt

As always with the fake western media, their sole reason to exist is to misrepresent facts and misinform their readers to pursue their leftist, sensationalist and unpatriotic agenda.

The most relevant actor that brought about the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was most assuredly not Joe Biden of the USA, but Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the President of Egypt. It was he who mediated directly between Israel and Hamas because Egypt is the only Arab country adjoining and controlling the flow of life to Gaza, not Biden from 5900 miles away.

In fact, achieving the ceasefire forced Biden to call al Sisi for the first time since he took office. Biden admitted publicly how significant Egypt’s role was in stopping the hostilities.

To help the people of Gaza, al Sisi opened the crossings to allow urgent food and medical supplies to go through and allow the injured to be taken care of in Egyptian hospitals.

He also declared Egypt’s willingness to provide $500,000,000 in construction aid to rebuild Gaza.

Egypt’s involvement between the USA, Israel, Gaza, and the Arab world has become strategic as it should be, considering Egypt is the most populous – about 100 million people – and militarily most powerful Arab country.

For several years now, Qatar and Turkey were very much involved in publicly, vociferously, and financially supporting the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood against Egypt. In the last few months, it is obvious that it has dawned on them that their attitude has been counterproductive since the Muslim Brotherhood is actually a threat to all the Arab leaders.

Therefore, both countries recently started a rapprochement with al Sisi, with direct meetings in Egypt to resolve their differences and have better relationships. Both Turkey and Qatar are conceding the important and strategic role that Egypt plays in the Middle East, contrary to their previous confrontational position for the past eight years because, at last, reality, not emotions has set in.

Turkey’s self-declared Khalifa (Caliph) and dictator Recipe Erdogan got involved militarily and actively in the separatist war in Libya in support of the Muslim Brotherhood. To make sure that the civil war in Libya does not come to the border of Egypt, al Sisi declared a Red Line 1000 Km away from Egypt’s border; if crossed, Egypt would use its powerful army to destroy the intruders by invading Libya.

Erdogan understood the seriousness of Egypt’s position and has not allowed an incursion beyond the Red Line.

Moreover, Egypt is extremely concerned for obvious economic and water resources reasons, the attempt by Ethiopia to create a huge dam that will divert a substantial portion of this life-giving Nile water to irrigate their own lands.

For almost 10,000 years, the waters originating from the highlands of many countries flowed down un-impeded to irrigate and create civilizations all over the globe. With modern technologies and with greater populations, the states from which the waters flow are now able to determine the destinies and survival of the lowland countries.

Water resources are now an extremely volatile and dangerous issue on the world stage that requires astute, fair-minded, and diligent diplomacy to avert war.

Egypt can and would initiate war against Ethiopia because Sudan’s water will also be affected, and they would give the Egyptian military all the assistance and facilities needed.

This is one reason why Egypt is willing to shore up the Sudanese economy by guaranteeing to pay a portion of the interest on loans if the Soudan cannot do so.

According to the Egyptian Minister of Planning, Hala Al-Saeed, despite the Covid catastrophe, Egypt is forecasting economic growth of 5.4 percent in the next fiscal year 2021/2022, up from 3.3 percent expected in 2020/2021.

The Egyptian Cabinet approved the draft budget for the next fiscal year 2021/2022, which was presented by Finance Minister Mohamed Maait and will be submitted to parliament.

Even in Lebanon, Egypt is becoming an important political and economic player to balance the disruptive and totally destructive influence of Hezbollah, the Shia arm of the Ayatollah terrorist regime of Iran.

What is most relevant also is the reality that under al Sisi’s forward-looking vision of Egypt – unlike the Muslim Brotherhood’s Sharia oriented incredible backwardness – has allowed a state of a mutually advantageous relationship with Israel, despite the immense Muslim Quran sanctioned hatred of Jews that fill the minds of most Egyptians.

A resurgent Egypt under al Sisi’s pragmatism and leadership are the best for Egypt and all the countries in the Middle East because there is absolutely no doubt that if the Islamists of the Muslim Brotherhood take over in Egypt, total war in the Middle East will become a certainty, as it was going to happen had al Sisi and the army not removed the Muslim Brotherhood from power.

Whether their intelligence and political services inform the Western leaders and Joe Biden of these extremely volatile flashpoints regarding water and the Muslim Brotherhood remains to be seen.
