Equity over competence! This is the latest battle cry of Progressive / Social Justice / Equity-Socialism elites. Equity, according to the online Mirriam-Webster dictionary, means “fairness or justice in the way people are treated.” Social Justice elites like NYC Mayor...
The current administration is twisting and breaking nearly every immigration law on record and daring Americans to sue them to amend or try and stop this massive influx! Given the majority of these migrants require extensive public assistance and welfare, the burden is on all Americans, but most certainly on taxpaying Americans is sizeable. Moreover, we’re already a nation with $30 trillion in debt and an administration looking to spend another $6 trillion in the immediate future on a host of questionable social programs. Therefore, I consider unfettered mass illegal immigration an immediate American Pandemic with serious intermediate and long-term negative consequences for Americans.
On The Frankly Daniel Show this week, I introduce the concept of “American Pandemics.” Yes, Pandemics in the plural. We’re used to thinking of Pandemics as sweeping, worldwide diseases. But the Pandemics I’m talking about are political and ideological diseases in our American discourse.
Think for a moment about the impact of two to three million migrants crossing our borders each year in no orderly fashion and only minimal border screening. These migrants are settling, without notice or usual immigration planning or authority, in all of our continental states. As a result, we now have just a wide-open southern border, open to migrants from anywhere and open to crime and national security threats.
Think about the financial impact on states, cities, counties, and our federal governments. There’s been no transparency or thought-through, public plan for this influx of people other than an ideology that America is too white, and more people of color should be allowed to claim asylum as unvetted “refugees-at-large.”
The most radical Democrats in Congress, acting more like American Marxists, look to this influx of under-educated, financially destitute, non-English speaking, marginally employable migrants with young dependents and unknown medical histories or criminal background records as a means to correct our white-dominated society.
“Reverse Discrimination” is another American Pandemic. There’s a nationally orchestrated movement to discriminate against white people openly and men, in particular, to achieve a politically and ideologically distorted sense of racial equity and justice. I’m talking about reverse discrimination such as that practiced by the Marxist organization Black Lives Matter, and the forced Critical Race Theory indoctrination in the name of racial sensitivity and diversity training.
Defunding or abolishing the police and destroying our criminal justice system are also serious American Pandemics with life and death risks. These are but a few of the American Pandemics that I’ll be speaking about in the coming Frankly Daniel Shows. It’s time to begin openly talking about these Pandemics, now that COVID-19 is not dominating our lives. These political and ideological Pandemics have taken advantage of 16 months of serious distraction to rip large tears in our American fabric.
