Most people take their liberties for granted, forgetting that generations of Americans fought and died to defend freedom against foreign forces of tyranny. Today, the threat to freedom is often different, but no less severe. But the weapons we must use to stand up against those who quickly steal our liberties are often not guns and bombs. It is fully deploying our right of freedom of expression, while we still have it.
Call your government representatives and radio talk shows to express your point of view on the topics that concern you. Send letters to the newspaper. Speak out at community and family events. That is the advice of James Taylor, President of The Heartland Institute, guest on our radio show today.
Heartland leads the way in the full utilization of freedom of speech with its government lobbying (especially at the state level), conferences, research centers, and publications, some of which are listed below. They show clearly that, given the appropriate funding and strategies, we can win the war against woke, politically-correct leftists who have been gradually taking over our government, education, corporate, legal, religious, and other institutions.
James Taylor received his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College where he studied atmospheric science and majored in government. He also achieved a Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University.
James has presented energy and environment analysis on CNN, Fox, MSNBC, PBS, CBS, ABC, etc. all over the country. He has also been published in virtually every major newspaper in America and is a regular presenter at conferences across the world.
Join Jay and Tom today to learn from the president of The Heartland Institute what they are doing, and how you can help, in the fight to preserve our freedoms.
