It is important for Americans and others to comprehend the enormity of the numbers of subjects that the main news media (the Enemies of “We the People”) never bring to their attention although they are vital for an informed humanity.
This is why it is left to the Alternative Media such as ours to bring Facts and Reality to the American public and challenge anyone to prove us wrong.
Nakba Day (Arabic: يوم النكبة  Yawm al-Nakba) meaning “Day of the Catastrophe” is generally commemorated on 15 May, the date when the Jews of Palestine declared the “Israeli Independence Day” of (Yom Ha’atzmaut) from British Mandate rule according to UN Resolution 181 of 1947.
For the descendants of the Arabs of Palestine it is an annual day of commemoration of the displacement that followed the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948. The day was inaugurated by Yasser Arafat in 1998.
The Arabs declared it a ‘Catastrophe’ not because they single handily created their refugee problem but because they failed totally in their publicly declared attempt on 15th May 1948 to EXTERMINATE the Jews of what used to be British Mandated Palestine.
Six Arab armies surrounding the State of Israel invaded the territory allocated for the Jews by the UN to eradicate the newly founded state.
By the way, this was the first ACT of WAR committed by any nation since the UN was created to literally avoid such an event.
The Arabs conveniently ignore the fact that had they not invaded the territory of Israel as an act of war, there would have been NO Arab Refugees.
There were over 30,000,000 refugees world-wide after WWII. Only the Arab refugees were given a permanent organization UNRWA while nothing was done for the other 30,000,000.
According to UNRWA~
Palestine refugees are defined as “persons whose normal place of residence was Palestine during the period 1 June 1946 to 15 May 1948, and who lost both home and means of livelihood as a result of the 1948 conflict.”
UNRWA services are available to all those living in its area of operations who meet this definition, who are registered with the Agency and who need assistance. The descendants of Palestine refugee males, including adopted children, are also eligible for registration. When the Agency began operations in 1950, it was responding to the needs of about 750,000 Palestine refugees. Today, some 5 million Palestine refugees are eligible for UNRWA services.

Nothing whatsoever was done to over 950,000 Jews forced to leave their ancestral lands from over 30 Muslim countries because Israel welcomed, absorbed and integrated them without a dime from the UN.

There are only a few thousand Arab refugees left from their originals in 1948 BUT the UN is catering for 4,300,000 of the children, grand-children and great grand-children of the original refugees. No other refugees in the last 72 years have had a fraction of a fraction of the billions of dollars aiding these so called refugees.
The refugees of the Arab Israeli conflict are Arabs (the UN never called them Palestinian Refugees but Arab refugees from British Mandated Palestine) who became dispersed among the neighbouring Arab states who speak and write the same language, have the same religion, eat and dress in similar ways in Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Egypt yet they have not been absorbed by these states but on the contrary they have been treated more as enemies than as fellow Arabs.
Let us put the so called Arab Nakba in perspective in comparison to another greater Nakba/ Catastrophe on the Sub Continent of India~
In August, 1947, when, after three hundred years in India, the British finally left, the subcontinent was partitioned into two independent nation states: Hindu-majority India and Muslim-majority Pakistan.
Immediately, there began one of the greatest migrations in human history, as millions of Muslims trekked to West and East Pakistan (the latter now known as Bangladesh) while millions of Hindus and Sikhs headed in the opposite direction. Many hundreds of thousands never made it.
During and after the India Pakistan split by 1948, as the great migration drew to a close, more than 15,000,000 people had been uprooted, and between one and two million were slaughtered on both sides.
Not a dime nor a mention is recorded in the UN about these cataclysmic events.
Please readers, note that in both the Pakistan-India and Arab –Israeli conflicts, the instigators of the conflicts were Muslims (Pakistanis and Arabs).
Dear Americans, Muslims willfully ignore the Fact and Reality that none Muslim humanity (currently 80% of humanity) has been suffering 1400 years of NAKBA from Muslims starting in 622AD and continuing in the 21st century.
It is about time that the world and the UN should stop completely subsidising the most parasitic, corrupt and dysfunctional organization in its history called UNRWA and let the surrounding Arab nations that started the conflict in the first place on 15th May 1948 take care of these ‘refugees’.
