This week, the Department of Energy reported that the origin of COVID-19 was most likely the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. However, this report only reinforces an earlier report by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) concluding the same. Therefore, the coronavirus that became COVID-19 most likely originated from an accidental laboratory spill and eventual leak to the greater population of Wuhan, China. From there, COVID-19 spread worldwide.
None of this information surprises former President Donald J. Trump or tens of millions of Americans who sorted through the logic of how this deadly, pandemic-inducing virus originated and where it originated. By contrast, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy, and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) proffered a competing origination theory.
Dr. Fauci, who, until his resignation two months ago, was President Joe Biden’s Chief COVID Health Advisor, forcefully supported the coronavirus originated in nature and had nothing to do with the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Unfortunately, Dr. Fauci insisted his theory of “natural evolution” became the government’s official position. Moreover, the left-leaning legacy media and social media took Dr. Fauci’s pronouncements on this topic as “scientific gospel.” As a result, they censored anyone who spoke openly in support of the “lab leak theory.”
This Frankly Daniel Podcast is the first of three to explore how COVID-19, regardless of how it arrived on American shores, has irreparably and forever altered American lives.
Americans should never doubt that our government institutions, including the agencies listed below, made serious, wrong-headed, often incompetent, and too often partisan political decisions in managing all aspects of COVID-19, resulting in incalculable harm to Americans.

How these institutions, including multiple non-governmental organizations (e.g., Teachers’ Unions), created and enforced harsh, punitive COVID-19 policies is stunning and unforgivable. Not one American has escaped harm in some manner from how our government firmament managed COVID-19. Yet, given the changing circumstances of this pandemic, I do not accept the excuse that these institutions did the best they could.
