Happy New Year, and welcome to the return of The Frankly Daniel Show.
I had to leave my show on the America Out Loud Network in the middle of last year due to a very unlikely and life-threatening cancer. That cancer was “invasive ductile breast cancer,” and believe me, this diagnosis was a shock. Men aren’t supposed to get breast cancer. At least, this was my initial pained reaction. But I was wrong. Approximately 2,500 men are newly diagnosed with breast cancer each year, and 500 die from it.
This new diagnosis wasn’t my first bout with cancer. I’ve been battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) for the past eight years. And while my leukemia is unrelated to breast cancer and remains in remission, this new diagnosis meant I had to leave the Frankly Daniel Show and undergo surgery followed by weeks of post-operative radiation therapy.
Frankly, I had little to no expectation that I would make it back to America Out Loud. But thanks to my family, my physicians, and Malcolm, the Founder, CEO, and creative director of America Out Loud, this is my first show back, and I’m ecstatic.
The first part of today’s show is a recap of my journey through cancer and a few of the most important lessons I learned along the way.
In the show’s second half, I dissect the most troubling concerns about Joe Biden’s public fantasies on how well our economy is doing under his brand of democratic socialism. I also take the opportunity to discuss those mysterious top-secret, classified documents in Joe Biden’s possession.
As more classified documents appear, documents Joe Biden has no legal or ethical reason to have in his possession, I find my faith in Karma renewed. President Biden’s scathing comments about President Donald Trump’s storage of “classified-then-unclassified” document storage at Mar-a-Lago were unbecoming Biden’s stature as a sitting President.
