Everything is in extreme doses these days, including the chipping away of Americans’ freedoms. The American media is culprit number one in the decline of credible content and the lack of trustworthiness in the media landscape. Do reporters and talking heads say things that they really believe, or is it all an act to get you to believe what is essentially unbelievable? Do you think the media believes its own lies?

CNN’s Brian Stelter had Los Angeles Times columnist Jackie Calmes on his program to “declare that journalists need to stop covering the country’s two political parties equally because the modern Republicans don’t really care if government works well.” That’s quite a statement! Calmes has an interesting response: “There’s no question that journalists are recognizing the radicalization of the Republican Party… I think what’s changed a little bit is that, since Trump left office, there is more of a sense that maybe we’re back to normal.” There it is, that phrase, ‘back to normal.’ But whose ‘normal’ are we talking about?

Stelter then mentioned Calmes’ new book, “Dissent,” and said it’s about the “descent of the GOP.” The richness of it all… the descent of the GOP! And the bit about the “radicalization of the Republican Party,”… The fact that the Marxist Democrat Leftist Machine is attempting to radicalize our energy, our economy, our Supreme Court, our education system, our total and complete bankrupting of the USA. Socialism is too kind of a word here. But that’s not radical at all to these people.

Then, let’s discuss Ilhan Omar and her calling out the Minneapolis police for the violent crime spike. Omar goes on to say, “the police have chosen to not fulfill their oath of office and to provide the public safety they are owed to the citizens they serve.” 

Yes, this is the same Ilhan Omar, who was the most prominent advocate for defunding the police, and back in June 2020, said the following… “We need to completely dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department, the Minneapolis Police Department is rotten to the roots, and so when we dispatch elect we get rid of that cancer, and we allow for something beautiful to rise, and that reimagining allows us to figure out what Public Safety looks like.”
