California has been red before and can be red again says Congressional Candidate Ronda Baldwin-Kennedy. The practicing attorney who is running in California’s 26th district explains to “After Dark With Rob And Andrew” that the GOP should not give up on candidates like her or the state simply because it is blue and she’s red.
Baldwin-Kennedy said the people in her district are tired of the same old policies of the Democrats that have not gotten anything but higher taxes and lack of support for law enforcement. She also mentioned that opponent Julia Brownley (whom she narrowly lost to) is always missing from the district until election time. As for her Gov. Newsom, she said he can be beaten, but only if Republicans throw all their support behind one candidate. Right now she said there are too many candidates trying to unseat him in the special election. She had little to no kind words for Biden and Harris, whom she said has done a horrible job at the border.
Ronda Baldwin-Kennedy is originally from Wisconsin. She is a practicing criminal and civil litigator, having started her career as a building inspector and paralegal. As an attorney, she has defended gun store owners’ 2nd Amendment rights to remain open in her district, when they were told to close during the Covid19 shutdown. Baldwin-Kennedy says she is a strong believer in the Constitution, and will continue to defend the rights of citizens. She is currently the dean of a California law school. Her website describes her as a Republican Civil Rights Attorney. She is a wife, and the mother of six (including eight-year-old triplets).
