The pandemic crisis was worsened by government emergency countermeasures all over the world. Virtually every step taken by public health agencies was later proven in scientific studies to be ineffective or, in fact, negative, making the situation far worse. If public health agencies did not exist and the medical community simply fielded acutely ill COVID-19 cases as they presented — early treatment protocols would have evolved rapidly.
Hospitalizations and deaths could have been reduced worldwide by ~85% with early therapeutics, and deaths in hospitalized patients could have been curtailed by 50% with ivermectin and properly dosed corticosteroids. The land down under has been among the world’s most extreme in terms of lockdowns, isolation, societal restrictions, therapeutic nihilism, and mandated vaccination. It should come as no surprise that when the waves of SARS-CoV-2 finally hit this continent, COVID-19 outcomes were severe in terms of hospitalization and death.
Australians were essentially kept susceptible, and with multiple injections, their immune systems were made weaker and more vulnerable to infection and its consequences. Doctors were delisted and unable to practice if they attempted to help a patient with early treatment using hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin. The TGA or FDA equivalent in the US posted guidelines instructing doctors line by line what not to administer to a sick patient without suggesting a suitable multidrug protocol.
Most of Australia’s cases of COVID-19 were among the fully vaccinated, and in some reports, far in excess of 95% of the hospitalized cases and deaths occurred in the context of breakthrough infection. The government effectively ran a “no jab, no job” policy, and the citizens were forced into mass vaccination. Now vaccination policy has been thrust on employers to manage. I have enjoyed visiting the country as part of an academic faculty and entourage organized by the United Australia Party.
While I don’t understand Australian politics, I respect the spirit of one small political party that has taken up personal autonomy, medical freedom, and the right to free speech as their platform. Large public programs were held along the Sunshine Coast, Melbourne, and Sydney. The faculty presenters included Mr. Clive Palmer, former MP Craig Kelly, Senator Ralph Babet, Australian physician Dr. Melissa McCann, Dr. Pierre Kory, Dr. Peter McCullough, and historian/philosopher John Leake.
The audience was engaged, discerning, and above all, grateful for uncensored truth after being stonewalled by the government agencies, medical schools, health systems, and in many cases by their doctors throughout the pandemic.
