Merriam-Webster defines coerce as “to compel to an act or choice, to achieve by force or threat, to restrain or dominate by force.” A quick look around shows us that coercion is the primary tool of government. Of course, those in government are not the only ones to use coercion, but today that is what I will be focusing on. From schools to Washington, D.C., those in government don’t simply employ their just powers to protect our rights; they get their way by coercion. Sadly, by accepting the bribes of the politicians, most Americans have opened themselves to this coercion. So what can we do to regain control of our nation?
