Advertisers say that “sex sells.” Well, in the 21st century, it’s also become the infamous “third rail” of politics. From giving children “how-to” lessons in school to providing special protections for certain sexual agendas. From SOGI laws to laws prohibiting so-called “conversion therapy,” it seems society and the law have worked like a one-way valve or a ratchet, only allowing movement in a single direction.
With the possible exception of the recent Dobbs decision, it appears that the only direction society is moving is toward endorsing more and more self-described sexual “rights” at the expense not only of the rights of the majority, but of the destruction of the rule of law. In other words, in the 21st century, it appears you only have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness if it somehow involves sex.
