There is still so much unknown about Covid. For some people, the illness persists much longer than expected. We are talking more about finding COVID-19 in the gut and what the virus does to cause upset in the balance of microorganisms in the gut that we need for an optimal immune function to stay healthy. Dr. Sabine Hazan, a gastroenterologist, COVID-researcher, and CEO of Ventura Clinical Trials, a research center that has done over 150 clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies and over 100 privately self-funded trials. Dr. Hazan is also CEO of Progenabiome, a genetic sequencing lab that is looking at a signature microbiome that explains diseases, such as Alzheimer’s and COVID.
