No one and no place is safe. Any sense of safety in any large American city is merely a deception to you and your family. We are not safe, and our justice system can’t seem to protect us. The criminal element in society has the upper hand, and they not only know it but are taking advantage of it. The fact that their criminal enterprises are thriving and going unchecked is a thrill to them.

Madeline Brame, whose son was killed and the killers seemingly received a slap on the wrist, recently found herself unprotected and victimized during a subway ride in New York City. Brame said at the time, the only thing she was unable to do was to call out the name of “Jesus,” which gave her solace. She still laments, however, at having to ride a subway system that Eric Adams, the current mayor, says is safe. Brame says the mayor also claims the city to be safe, but on any given day, a person is victimized, as she was.

Brame speaks out against crime and corrupt politicians because she doesn’t want others to have to experience what she has. She said others don’t have the voice she has or are not comfortable speaking out. She wants to be the voice for them and will keep calling out political leaders who ask for votes and, once elected, do nothing.

Madeline Brame is the founder of Rescue Angel and New York state director of BLEXIT. She has appeared on numerous media outlets promoting stricter policies on violent crimes. Her son Jason Correa was stabbed to death in Harlem in 2018. She is now calling for changes to the city’s liberal bail reform policies that allowed her son’s accused killers to walk free.
