In case anyone is wondering why Democrats are hell bent on overhauling how we vote, a system and method which has worked pretty well for over two hundred years – as long as there are procedures and controls in place to ensure the integrity of our elections – there’s really only one explanation. They don’t like their chances of winning in a fair contest in 2022 and beyond. With the loss of power, it makes it much harder to fill one’s bank accounts with graft and corruption.

You see, Democrat corrupted politicians don’t give a tinkers damn about the American people. They care only about protecting their positions of power and control over all Americans. And protecting their backside against any close scrutiny of how they’ve lined their own and their family’s pockets through sweetheart financial deals reserved for the ruling class.

The fanatical quest for power goes far beyond any ideological differences, or about their respective position on social issues. It comes down to nothing more than political corruption. Self-preservation.

When a member of congress pays someone from their family three-quarters of a million dollars for basically doing nothing more than stuffing envelopes, it’s called political corruption. Ask Democrat Maxine Waters about this.

When Hunter Biden is able to secure millions of dollars in business deals from foreign investors while his father Joe is Vice President, and then once Joe moves into the Oval Office, Hunter is able to sell his ‘crayon creations’ for hundreds of thousands of dollars, it’s called political corruption.

Why would a politician spend tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars to stay in a job that pays around one hundred and seventy-five thousand bucks a year? Because the actual payoff, and the potential long-term benefits are much more.

Elected officials who have stayed in office for any length of time find themselves much wealthier than when they first were elected.

And there certainly are many ways for them to provide cover for their real wealth. Ask California Democrat Diane Feinstein and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi how their husbands were able to secure contracts worth millions of dollars. Is it because their official bid for those contracts (if a bid process is even involved, often ‘no-bid’ contracts end up being awarded), or is it because their spouse holds an elective office that opens all kinds of doors for them? It’s called political corruption.

Certainly, there are Republican lawmakers who have enriched themselves while serving in Congress or the Senate, and who’s also been involved in corruption. Whether they’re just better at concealing their corrupt activities than Democrats, or it’s just that Democrats are simply more corrupt – which is my belief – the Washington elite, for the most part, have proven themselves to be more interested in serving their own interests, than in serving their constituents.

How’s the old saying go, “Money talks and bull…. walks. That appears to be the creed of Democrats – and some Republicans – serving in Congress and the Senate.

And that is bad for America.
