Biden’s most recent embarrassing exercise in foreign policy demands a comment. Biden, who touted his foreign policy expertise based upon his years of senatorial service as Chairman of the Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee, is still a dud. As our leader, he has once again demonstrated his foreign policy acumen with this recent prisoner exchange with Russia.

Supposedly, the Russians gave Joe Biden two choices of American prisoners they held in exchange for a Russian arms dealer whose arms dealing business brought death and destruction to several small African countries, raising their ability to slaughter one another with machetes and single-shot WWI rifles to new AK-47’s, rocket launchers and machine guns. What a guy. He was incarcerated in a US prison as a dangerous terrorist.

Who did the Russians have for whom we were willing to exchange the notorious international terrorist Viktor Bout? A former US former Marine, a security consultant in Russia, detained on a rigged espionage charge, or a dangerous tattooed, Black LGBTQIA American-hating basketball player arrested for importing hash oil into Russia? How’s this for a foreign policy achievement?

Saudi Arabia did the negotiating on our behalf and was presented the two choices by the Russians for Joe Biden to consider, Brittney Griner or Paul Whelan. Whelan was a Trumper. Joe chose Brittney Griner, his decision wrapped in the cloak of diversity, equity, and inclusion, the false standards upon which Joe’s corrupt government operates. Equity above all else.

Viktor Bouts notorious reputation has been the subject of books, documentaries, and a television series even. In 2011, Bout was convicted on charges of conspiracy to kill U.S. officials and civilians, illicit arms sales, and providing material support for terrorist organizations. As a result, he was sentenced to a minimum of 25 years in prison. Griner, a woman who thought she could ignore another country’s drug laws because she was special, actually committed a crime. To us, it wasn’t serious but good enough for the Russians.

Consequently, Brittney was arrested, charged, pled guilty, and imprisoned for smuggling cannabis oil into Russia. In pleading Guilty, she signed up for a nine-year tour in Siberia. Paul Whelan is a former US Marine working in Russia as a security contractor. He was sentenced to sixteen years on charges of espionage. Whelan, a patriot who risked his life for his country serving in Iraq, was an easy mark for the Russians who took advantage of the circumstances if they had not staged it. In any event, there he sits, waiting for good ol’ uncle Joe.

It took nearly a decade to apprehend Viktor Bout and close to three years to convict him for terrorism and arms trafficking. Supposedly, thousands of African civilians in several African countries were killed or injured by weapons Bout sold.

Was he a good trade for Griner? Touting his good works at a press conference, Joe praised Griner with effusive words of welcome home and, in lowered tones of regret, said he was still working hard (after his nap) to achieve Whelan’s release. Weiland has been in Russian custody for four years already.

Reliable sources (Saudis) reported that Russia gave Biden two choices, Griner or Whelan; Biden’s dunce of a press spokesman and prevaricator of factual knowledge, Karine Jean-Pierre, denied that in her White House press briefing saying Joe was given only one choice, Griner. Who to believe? When given a choice between a former Marine accused of espionage and a nearly unknown female basketball player who aligned herself with Black Lives Matter, Joe’s decision was as predictable as Elm blight coming in January. Biden insists he hasnt forgotten” about Whelan and would continue the fight for his release.

In the same breath, Joe blamed Russia for treating the two cases differently. Joe has lost nearly all his credibility after the disastrous Afghan pullout, and he hasn’t helped it here, but the Gay community and the LGBTQIA and whatever else they can come up with are happy. But true Americans know what’s up, and sooner rather than later, their wrath will boil over.

Remember, freedom is the goal; the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em!

So, what do you think about the following? My late husband was a retired US Army veteran ; he and now, I, have had our insurance book of business with USAA which until a few years ago only served military families. Forty years with USAA. Just read that they have gone ‘ woke’ and embrace ESG & it’s so- called values as an insurance company. I am sickened by this; ESG is anathema to traditional military and patriotic American Constitutional values. Not a good fit. My husband would be appalled and in disbelief. They are helping our beloved country to circle the drain and care less about what I think.
