I am a traveler. Being the daughter of a commercial airline pilot, it seems to be in my blood. One thing that has struck me as odd is that it is not always easy to find Democrats in supposedly highly liberal areas. Maybe it’s a coincidence, perhaps I attract Republicans, but in all my years of world travel, I can think of two encounters that were politically left (and the one was being berated by her own friends). And yes, I am outspoken enough to know every person’s political status before stage left.

While questioning the strange occurrence most of my life, it didn’t become a defining moment until 2016. At this time, I was relaxing in London with nothing to do except watch the DNC. It was unusually warm, with no rain in the forecast for the three weeks I was enjoying the country. Watching the convention was about as unusual (except for the absence of the ordinarily cloudy, rainy weather England is notorious for) as the experience I was about to gain. Viewing the television, I noticed that the DNC was not particularly full. Hillary Clinton was not a popular candidate, so it did not seem significant to me, and truth be told, this was the first DNC or RNC I had ever taken the time to watch. From my standpoint, there was no doubt in my mind that Donald Trump would be our next President.

Upon returning to the United States, I saw the news outlets summarize the gathering. I looked in amazement as it looked like the conference was packed, filled with Hilary fans. This was definitely not what the English media was showing. At that moment, I wondered, have we been having free elections?

The Democrats may have messed up their cheating in 2016, but there was no way they would repeat that in 2020. As thousands showed up for President Trump’s numerous rallies in city after city, Slow Joe struggled to fill a small room (with Covid as an excuse). Yet, ”polls” showed Biden leading at every point.

That 2020 election started out the same way as what is occurring in the 2022 Pennsylvania election; the PA voter database, once again, “went down” just days before the election. What are the chances? The Statewide Uniform Registry of Electors, or SURE for short, is the state-wide system that maintains the accuracy of voting records that election officials use to facilitate at the voting stations. I say it’s a SURE way to cheat, but hopefully, I am wrong. Again, in PA, the polls across the state have Fetterman and Shapiro leading. Again, strange because I am pretty sure a tree could win a race against the clearly, mentally disabled Fetterman, still in recovery.

Yet, the deceit goes deeper. News outlets have recently reported that PA Republicans have left the camp to lead the charge backing Shapiro, and at first glance, it would seem so. After all, “Republicans4Shapiro” would seem to say just that. Upon further investigation, it looks more like people from Utah, California, and other parts of the country were more inclined to donate to this PAC than PA Republicans. Of course, there is the unfortunate case of Karl Rove, but let’s be honest; he was washed up and untrusted years ago.

So, let’s talk numbers. The most accurate polling firm from 2016, the Trafalgar Group has Attorney General Josh Shapiro and Senator Doug Mastriano within the margin of error, Shapiro at 49.7% versus Mastriano at 45.4%. Some national polling has them at a 10-point spread, Shapiro leading. The message is that Mastriano will lose. But between parading the celebrities, the current president and former president stomping for the AG, I think they all know it will take cheating to win this one. Polling this cycle may be more inaccurate than ever before.

After all, people are mad at the state of the country, and the Republicans are winning all the cross tabs on issues. On inflation, energy, costs, crime, and immigration (which are the top concerns), Republicans hold the trust. Roe v Wade, which the Democrats put all their bets on, only holds for 18% of the population. The current undecided voter group (estimated at 10%) is 80% of high school-educated, working-class voters and is breaking 7-1 in favor of Republicans. It may be a late shift, but it’s a significant shift.

You see, they have to make you believe that the Democrat will be the winner, so you don’t question the outcomes. This isn’t new; it is just the first time people are catching on and looking at things through a different lens. The moral is to question everything. Your freedom is at stake.
