Gaslighting is defined as the psychological manipulation of a person, usually over an extended period of time, that causes the victim to question the validity of their own thoughts, perception of reality, or memories. This typically leads to confusion, loss of confidence and self-esteem, the uncertainty of one’s emotional or mental stability, and a dependency on the perpetrator.
With that in mind, I want to peruse some recent headlines to see just how many groups are attempting to gaslight the American people and see how well they are doing.
