Today on The Constitution Study, I discuss the Philadelphia foster care case along with both the Masterpiece Cake Shop and Arlene’s Flowers cases, along with other examples of governments infringing on religious liberty. When I say “Religious Liberty,” what comes to mind? Is it the freedom to go to church, to wear a crucifix, yamaka, or hijab? Is it the ability to not work on your chosen holy day? We’ll learn a little history about the Black Robe Regiment and how they influenced both our decision to declare independence and the Revolutionary War.
