Owning firearms is an absolute Constitutional right. It is not a privilege doled out at the pleasure of our betters. Today, the US Supreme Court re-entered the fray in a 6-3 decision that absolutely invalidated New York’s law that gives discretionary authority to unelected officials over who should or should not obtain a concealed carry permit. This represents a return to “Due Process,” and a revalidation of the original meaning(s) of the First and Second Amendments. 

The Court’s decision exposes several other states that have imposed questionable restrictive gun possession laws that will have to be adjusted. Justice Clarence Thomas wrote the decision saying:

“We know of no other constitutional right that an individual may exercise only after demonstrating to government officers some special need. That is not how the First Amendment works when it comes to unpopular speech or the free exercise of religion. It is not how the Sixth Amendment works when it comes to a defendant’s right to confront the witnesses against him. And it is not how the Second Amendment works when it comes to public carry for self-defense.”

As expected, the descending Liberals on the court “accused the conservative majority of failing to consider “the potentially deadly consequences of its decision.” What the Democrats fail to realize is that no law would have stopped either the Buffalo or Uvalde shootings.

I will not accept that the string of “mass shootings” on American streets since Obama’s and Biden’s regimes and characterized as “gun” violence is the national problem Democrats want it to be. Evidence shows that death on the streets of America comes by many different means, including automobiles at Christmas parades, rioting on city streets, stabbings, clubbing, and kicking victims to death as they lay gasping on city streets.

The odd shootings on NYC subway platforms were hate crimes by Americans of African descent against Whites and Asians. Some shootings are robberies gone awry, but the most significant number of deaths by gunfire can be laid at the feet of released recidivists and black gangs claiming territorial rights in Blue cities. Violence is committed by criminals and/or mentally deranged persons. If society can’t be protected from these people, then the problems of violence will never be resolved.

As Democrats continually try to find ways to seize our personal weapons, their efforts increasingly take on the appearance of schemes to create fear in Americans to demand that guns should be seized from all citizens for the social good.

Of course, Democrats hope they can ward off the coming electoral disaster this November, focusing on gun violence. They have employed all sorts of ruses to get around the Second Amendment, i.e., shifting the problem from federal to state and local governments.

So we have magazine capacity restrictions, taxes on ammunition, gun storage mandates, required registration of all firearms in a household, and the odious Red Flag Laws.

The Red Flag Laws pit neighbor against neighbor with the hope being any complaint by any citizen on any pretext against any gun-owning citizen is deemed acceptable by the local police departments as truth, allowing police to unconstitutionally seize all guns from the person complained about lest he should turn into a crazed democrat and run about shooting people.

Never mentioned, however, is the fact that the US Supreme Court, in a  9-0 decision, already has ruled that Red Flag laws were absolutely unconstitutional. They violate the constitutionally protected rights of due process, and Fourth Amendment protections of search and seizure, not to mention the 2A right to bear arms. Once Democrats can seize your guns, even in violation of constitutional protections, it can be listed as a faite acomplie’. Better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission.

Examining the current violence problem realistically, we see the use of guns to commit mass violence and create havoc best occurs where people congregate or are confined in target-rich groups such as schools, churches, concerts, shopping malls, and baseball practice fields. Can’t do that with knives and clubs. Therefore, public exposure to mass violent crimes with guns can serve the Democrats’ Socialist State as a pretext to declare a State of Emergency. Consequently, the midterm elections should be postponed, all weapons seized, and Trump conservatives incarcerated as terrorists. That would be a death knell for Democrats because it would never work. Nothing ever works for them!

For example, in hindsight, some authorities question the killings at Parkland high school and Sandy Hook, while horrible, smelled like planned events. Motive evidence found after the Las Vegas, Nevada shooting has been completely hidden, so it reeks with the smell of a put-up job. And there can be no doubt that the attempted assassinations of GOP Congressional members on a baseball practice field by a Bernie Sanders acolyte was Democrat Terrorism.

The story behind the more recent shooting in Buffalo, NY, is now suspect because an FBI agent was in prior contact with the shooter. And the appalling reaction by the Uvalde, Texas police, smacks of incompetence if not a pre-planned exercise to inflame public passions. Police malpractice simply doesn’t cover the crimes committed there.

The Uvalde police chief, who ordered no action against the killer inside while he was still shooting, used force against outraged parents willing to face the danger. He turns out to be a Democrat politician, donor, and fundraiser for grandstander Beto O’Rourke.

There’s simply too much confusion following these mass shootings, and Red Flag laws won’t solve them. They only empower the Socialists who can’t proceed with America’s takeover so long as we remain armed. Doing something about guns that involves confiscation and abrogating the Bill of Rights is not the answer. Getting rid of all Democrats would be a better answer!

Remember, freedom is the goal; the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ’em!
