The Nashville shooter was a hard-core leftist transgender girl, who identified as a boy… who would have thought this person would have issues? It appears she was a former student of the school and was “triggered” to go on this shooting spree by the recent push in Tennessee to ban children transitioning (read child abuse). Tolerance would have prevented this tragedy, right? How about instead of sending $100 billion to Ukraine, we use that money to put armed guards at our schools?
At the risk of being politically correct, gender dysmorphia was considered a mental disorder as recently as 2018. If you have girl parts and you are pretending to be a boy, perhaps we should be looking into counseling instead of giving you life-altering hormonal therapies and irreversible surgeries. Pushing this garbage on our children is criminal, and allowing these therapies and surgeries to be administered to minors is child abuse.
As if this tragedy wasn’t bad enough, a gun control activist showed up at the school shooting briefing screaming about guns. This crazy buffoon activist said we need gun control and that assault weapons are contributing to the border crisis. Can someone please tell these leftist lunatics that there’s no such thing as an “assault” weapon; there are categories of guns – pistols, rifles, shotguns, etc. – but there’s no such thing as an “assault” gun.
This lady does not know what she is talking about; what we need is more people with guns, especially protecting the schools and the border. I hate to break it to you, but guns aren’t causing the fentanyl crisis. This is a bizarro world at its finest. She’s blaming this on guns, not the mental health issues – the gun didn’t kill; it was the mentally ill trans woman who used the gun to commit murder.
When someone wants to murder, there are many weapons they can choose from, and shockingly, some murders are actually carried out without the use of a gun at all; that said, all murders are carried out by screwed-up people.
Our second amendment states clearly:
“A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
Abridging the right to keep and bear arms is not an option; if someone wants it to be changed, they will have to amend the constitution (there’s a process for that, but it is intentionally difficult). Every American has the right to protect themselves and their family; without that right, you are going to have to trust someone else. Trusting the same government that provided these safe and effective vaccines or arrested the J6 political prisoners to protect my family is not an option. I will die on my feet before I live on my knees. You aren’t taking my guns, period.
Instead of blaming the gun, perhaps we should be blaming the mentally ill shooter or the messed up culture we have created that is facilitating this mental health crisis. We’ve come to a point in our society where the left is defending the mentally ill, all while they are causing these problems by pushing this transgender nonsense on our children and acting like it’s normal.
Guns don’t kill people; mentally ill people kill people!
