CNS News first reported on Oct 17, 2018, and according to the Department of Health and Human Services they mention there has been a second 90 day extension to a contract it has with the University at San Francisco that requires UCSF to make “humanized mice.” Truly this has to be a mistake one would assume, yet not….it is a fact.
“Abortion was the number one cause of death worldwide in 2018, with more than 41 million children killed before birth, Worldometers reports.” As of December 31, 2018, there have been some 41.9 million abortions performed in the course of the year.” The majority of these babies are children of color, black, and Hispanic. These sources also mention this is a global epidemic and Europe is seeing high numbers in Abortion rates as well.
Did you know the University of San Francisco is using aborted baby parts to create humanized mice?
The University was recently given an extension and this kind of research could cost American taxpayers over 100 million.
“Are the mothers who agree to donate the tissue from their unborn babies for this FDA research informed that tissue taken from their aborted baby will be transplanted into a mouse?”
“Fetal organ procurement is highly unethical and potentially illegal. The undercover investigation by the Center for Medical Progress found that many women solicited to donate aborted baby organs were given misleading consent forms to sign with statements that aborted tissue “has been used to treat and find a cure for such diseases as diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, cancer and AIDS.” These blatantly false statements violate ethical standards by grossly misleading the patient.” This research is irresponsible
“Contrary to claims, there is no scientific requirement of aborted fetal tissue to construct humanized mice. Historically, humanized mice were constructed using aborted fetal organs such as fetal liver, fetal bone marrow, and fetal thymus, on the theory that young fetal tissue would be more robust in growth. But good scientific alternatives exist to this grisly sourcing, including use of human umbilical cord blood stem cells and adult peripheral blood stem cells. There are abundant modern scientific alternatives, making aborted fetal tissue unnecessary.”
The government names this project the “Humanized Mouse Models for HIV Therapeutics Development” recently it issued another 90 day extension to the UCSF under the contract which runs until June 5th, 2019, stating it’s in the process of conducting the “comprehensive review” of all research involving fetal tissue.
This multi million dollar contract is demand driven by federal tax dollars for the fetal tissue extracted from late term aborted babies. According to an estimate published on its website, the expenditure amount is around the neighborhood of $95 million this fiscal year alone on research like UCSF’s “humanized mouse” contract.
“The review was initiated to insure all federally funded research using human fetal tissue is consistent with the statutes and regulations governing such research and to ensure the adequacy of procedures and oversight of this research in light of the serious regulatory, moral and ethical considerations involved”.
Originally this “Humanized Mouse” contract with UCSF was executed on December 6, 2013, the original contract was for a one year period and provided the government with the option of renewing it up to six additional one year periods up to December 5th, 2020.
“On July 17, 2018, CNS News sent twenty questions to the Food and Drug Administration and Advanced Bioscience Resources about the contract cited in the FDA’s June 13 pre-solicitation notice.
On July 24, 2018, the FDA responded to CNS News with a statement. After the FDA signed a contract with ABR on July 25, 2018, the FDA confirmed to CNS News that contract was the same one cited in it’s June 13 pre-solicitation notice.”
