Holding Ukraine Accountable for US Taxpayer Money
Ukraine has been given nearly $20 billion of US taxpayer money, and this is during a time the United States is facing an economic crisis that looks like a recession. The Biden Administration has been telling the American public that we are trying to aid the country in a war against a tyrant Russia. Unfortunately, this war has been going on for almost a year, and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight to the war or the US sending money to Ukraine.
Heather Robinson of the New York Post, joins the hosts of “After Dark” to discuss money being given to Ukraine. Robinson said the US should not be sending money to Ukraine without accountability. She said the US should be holding the president of the country, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, accountable for all the money they are receiving. Because the war between Ukraine and Russia seems to be endless, at some point, she said the US and other countries should get the two countries to come together and declare a cease-fire and work toward peace.
Heather Robinson is a New York-based freelance journalist who regularly contributes to The New York Post, Jewish News Syndicate, the US Spectator, and other publications. She has appeared as a pundit on “CNN with Anderson Cooper” and Fox News’s “Geraldo At Large,” discussing human rights, popular culture, and the Mideast.
