As humor writer Dave Barry used to say, I am not making this up.

And no, this is not a parody from the Babylon Bee.

The latest? Using Biden’s Executive Order 13985: “Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities through the Federal Government,” as their mandate, Health, and Human Services will give grants for the distribution of “safe smoking kits.” To make smoking crack and other illicit drugs “safer.” Also included: syringes to prevent and control the spread of infectious diseases.

The Orwellian double-speak term HHS uses is “harm reduction programs.” We at HHS don’t want you to be harmed by infectious diseases while you smoke and inject harmful drugs like crack and fentanyl. We want to make it safer for you to smoke crack and inject addictive drugs. Translation: we want to enable you to smoke crack and inject harmful drugs. Drugs that put you in a stupor, harm your health and lead to death by overdose.

“Harm Reduction” = Enabling Harm

That’s like saying, “We want to reduce the harm to children playing in traffic, so we will issue “safe traffic play kits.” That’s saying we want to help you do something dangerous. We want to help you to do something that might kill you. But we will help you do it a little more safely. We will enable you to do dangerous and destructive behavior…more safely. 

In the world of treatment for addiction, the word enabling means aiding and abetting. It means you are helping the addict continue to be addicted. It means you are complicit in helping the addict use the addictive drugs. Your enabling hurts him and hurts others.

The image of crack houses we get from the news and television crime shows is a deserted house where bedraggled, dirty, malnourished addicts inject and smoke drugs. Then they lie there in a stupor. Eventually, they overdose and die.

“Equity” in Crack Use?

But wait! There’s more! These social justice warriors of the Biden Administration with government power want “equity” for “underserved” communities. Biden’s Executive Order defines equity as “the consistent and systematic fair, just and impartial treatment of all individuals, including individuals who belong to underserved communities that have been denied such treatment, such as Black, Latino, and Indigenous and Native American persons, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and other persons of color; members of religious minorities; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) persons; persons with disabilities; persons who live in rural areas; and persons otherwise adversely affected by persistent poverty or inequality.”

So let’s get this straight: you folks in the black, Latino, transgender, LGBTQ+, communities have not gotten enough enabling to help you use dangerous crack, meth, and fentanyl. The very drugs that destroy you as a person, destroy your families, and destroy your communities. Drugs that often kill you from an overdose. Since you are “underserved,” we will serve you – serve you our handy-dandy “safe smoking kits” that encourage you to continue and expand drug use in your community. 

Democrat Party Supremacists Want to Harm Minorities “Equitably”

You minorities are “underserved” by us, your Democrat Party Overlords. We haven’t equitably distributed “safe smoking kits” to enable you, your friends, your families, and your communities to destroy yourselves with stupefying drugs. While we equitably destroy you, your families, and your communities with increased drug use, we remain supreme over you.

Listen to the arrogance! You poor minorities don’t even know how to smoke crack safely! There, there, the big Daddy Democrat Party government is here to help you. Those mean ole nasty Republicans won’t help you do drugs, but we will. We Democrats will give you everything you need to become drug addicts. But we Democrats will help and enable you to do addictive drugs safely.
