People have been asking for years if America was heading toward another civil war. While people frequently point to the rise of patriot groups as the reason for their fear, I don’t think they are observing the world around us. If America falls into a new civil war, it won’t be because of the patriot groups, but the radical progressives, Marxists, and America haters that are already firing the first shots. To those who believe in freedom, liberty, and rights, I recommend we learn from our own history.
When the British marched on Lexington, MA, they were met by the Massachusetts Militia. When the British commander ordered the militia to drop their weapons and disperse, the Militia commander, Captain John Parker, said these famous words. “Stand your ground. Don’t fire unless fired upon. But if they mean to have war, let it begin here!”
I suggest those who will stand up for rights and justice heed those words.
