Whether you are 29 or 89, everyone can help shape public opinion and thereby influence public policy formulation. Whether it is getting involved in the local school board, running for Congress, or as in the case of our guest today, Illinois-based Nancy Thorner, turning your dream of becoming a political writer into reality, you’re never too old to take up the mantle and defend our democracy.
At almost 84, Nancy is now published regularly on major Internet platforms about some of the most important issues in the world today—climate change, COVID, the Canadian Freedom Convoy 2022, election reform, and many other topics.
Nancy is the winner of the Raymond S. True Leadership Award (image, right), from the Republican Assembly of Lake County, Illinois. Initially submitting Letters to Editor to Chicago area newspapers, she branched out until she is now a regular contributor to Illinois Review, The Heartland Institute, and Andy Schlafly’s Conservapedia. Nancy has also had commentaries posted at Alex Newman’s Liberty Sentinel site. Nancy’s writing helps readers see things as they really are, so they are able to put today’s events into their proper perspective.
To help clear the fog that envelopes election reform, voter rights, and the massive protests occurring across Canada (and are soon coming to America), join us this week with our guest, octogenarian writer Nancy Thorner!
