Dr. McCullough and John Leake are pleased to announce the inaugural episode of our in-studio, audio-visual podcast, The CounterJab. We debut with a very special conversation we just had with Jan Jekielek, senior editor at the Epoch Times.

We affectionately call Jan “America’s Greatest Reporter” because of his singular dedication to seeking and reporting the truth. This is both a moral and intellectual quality, and in this interview, we discuss his fascinating Polish ancestry and other adventures and tribulations that formed his character and mind. Ultimately we focus on his keen interest in China, the plight of Chinese dissidents, and his grave concern that Western elites and institutions seem to be acquiring many of the erosive, totalitarian habits of the Chinese Communist Party.  We hope you will be deeply engrossed and moved by our talk with Jan and look forward to many more jabs and counterjabs in the future.

  • Dr. Peter McCullough and John Leake

Dr. McCullough is an internist, cardiologist, and epidemiologist managing the cardiovascular complications of both the viral infection and the injuries developing after the COVID-19 vaccine in Dallas, TX, USA. Since the outset of the pandemic, Dr. McCullough has been a leader in the medical response to the COVID-19 disaster and has published “Pathophysiological Basis and Rationale for Early Outpatient Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Infection,” the first synthesis of sequenced multidrug treatment of ambulatory patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 in the American Journal of Medicine and subsequently updated in Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine. He has 56 peer-reviewed publications on the infection and has extensively commented on the medical response to the COVID-19 crisis in TheHill, America Out Loud, and FOX NEWS Channel. John Leake studied history and philosophy with Sir Roger Scruton at Boston University. He then went to Vienna, Austria on a graduate school scholarship and ended up living in the city for over a decade, working as a freelance writer and translator. In March 2020, when SARS-CoV-2 started to spread in the United States, he perceived that the pandemic response was illogical at best, and possibly criminal. He found it especially suspicious how quickly public health officials dismissed repurposed medications such as hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. In November of 2020, he watched a video of Dr. Peter McCullough’s U.S. Senate testimony about early treatment. He sensed from this performance that Dr. McCullough was likely to lead the way in developing a more rational, honest, and humane response to the crisis. He made contact with McCullough in Dallas, Texas, where both authors live, and together they wrote "The Courage to Face COVID-19."
