For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12 KJV). Those words of admonishment were written by St. Paul to the saints in Ephesus, and they ring ever so true. Today America finds itself in an innocuous war called Critical Race Theory (CRT). This war can’t be fought with bullets and guns, for it is a cultural-spiritual war. And if we are going to win,⏤we must put on the whole truth armor of God.

After Dark With Rob And Andrew” discuss the Critical Race Theory war with journalist Michael Tremoglie, who is in the process of writing a four-part series on CRT for the Houston Courant. In his series, Tremoglie gives the origins, history, and nature of CRT and its chief architect Antonio Gramsci.

The author says CRT has its foundational roots in Marxism and has been around for decades. While it never caught on in western civilization, as it did in Eastern Europe, it does seem to be becoming popular with the younger generation who know nothing about its history.

One of the theory’s main premises is to generate hate toward the existing social structure of society so that it appears to be a problem. This is done by controlling the media, academics, the arts, and anything that affects the way people think. Unfortunately, our society is exhibiting those premises today, with some pitting the races against the other.

To offset these attacks, Tremoglie said people must be armed with the truth of the incendiary harm of CRT on every level of society. He suggests individuals get involved and speak out against CRT. He admits it won’t be an easy lift, but if we are to save our country, we must do it.

Michael P. Tremoglie is a novelist, polemicist, and journalist. He has written for the Philadelphia Bulletin as well as the Philadelphia Daily News, Philadelphia Inquirer, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Insight magazine, and the Washington Times. He has appeared on nationally syndicated radio shows such as Bill Bennett’s Morning in America, the Larry Elder Show, Fox News, and MSNBC. Many of his articles have been reprinted in law reviews and referenced in congressional testimony. Tremoglie is the author of A Sense of Duty,  a novel derived from his experiences as a Philadelphia police officer. He currently writes for the Houston Courant.
