The Pledge of Allegiance says our flag stands for liberty and justice for all. But is that still true in America? Is justice still blind, or is she peaking? Does everyone in America get their due, or are they placing their thumbs on the scales of justice? It’s not just the legal system, or even the government as a whole. Can you expect to get justice from the media, from your employer, or your school? And if you can’t be sure you’ll get justice, how do you know that your rights will be protected? These are all important questions. But they are not the only ones. What are you doing to provide justice for others? What are you doing to protect justice for your neighbor, your friends, and your family? Because if we don’t seek justice for others, there will be no one who will seek justice for us.
