June 24, 2022, is a day that should be remembered forever. It was 50 years in the making and should become a national holiday. On that hallowed day, the Supreme Court of the United States overruled the infamous and divisive Roe v. Wade abortion ruling. In doing so, the high courts protected the lives of many future babies born in the United States as citizens.
The ruling does not end abortion completely. What it did do is conclude that the “Constitution does not confer a right to abortion” and that “the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives.”
This opinion was written by Justice Clarence Thomas and Justice Alito. These two men have forever solidified their rightful place in history along with former President Donald John Trump.
While many of Trump’s predecessors had said they would end abortion, he conceded where they couldn’t. To that end, the left will continue to demonize him and do all they can to denigrate his name. Thankfully this 50-year war has been won, but its standing future could possibly be a Supreme Court Justice decision away.
“Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Psalm 127:3
