As stated in the New Farm Bill, “it removes industrial hemp, defined as cannabis sativa, and all of its extracts (including cannabinoids), with not more than 0.3% THC concentration on a dry weight basis from the list of controlled substances. The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has no authority to interfere with the interstate transportation of hemp.”
The Farm Bill’s most prized commodity is legalized Cannabis, derived from Hemp, it’s a major contribution to the U.S. Agriculture industry and the health and wellness industry. The projections for growth in 2019 alone are at 700% and into the billions of dollars in earnings, it’s already among the number one top supply and demand markets.
Today, the Hemp markets attention is being wildly received by the baby boomers 50 and over right down to the young millennials alike, it seems to be one issue most of us can agree on being apart of as HEMP is in so many of our daily products.
On December 20th, 2018, President Trump passed the Farm Bill allowing all 50 States legalized actions regarding Hemp, setting the new agriculture policy by assuring a safety net for the American Farmers for the next five years.
This $867 billion agriculture law approved in the U.S. Senate on Dec. 11th, 2018 with an 87 to 13 vote and the following day, Dec. 12th, 2018, the U.S. House approved the bill with a 369 to 47 vote.
This Farm Bill is an innovative and prosperous first step to grow U.S. agriculture, by allowing farmers to legally grow hemp throughout all 50 states, will promote domestic job growth, while keeping the U.S. competitive within the global market. It’s a major win for the cannabis industry by demonstrating the utility of cannabis as a crop.
The 807 page document, where Hemp is discussed only a few times throughout, ends the era of hemp prohibition and promotes the many assets this product contributes as an agricultural commodity, further more, removing Hemp from the “Controlled Substances Act” clearing it from the mistaken identity of a controlled substance, like marijuana.
This great asset will amount to epoch proportions for an industry that contributes over 25,000 different products, super foods, dietary supplements, clinically approved drugs and fiber as a building material, oils and grain.
Some interesting facts regarding Hemp that you may not know:
~ Hemp was used as rope for ships and was a required crop to grow in the American colonies.
~ The very 1st American Flag was made of “Hemp”
~ George Washington & Thomas Jefferson grew Hemp
~ Ben Franklin made Hemp paper
~ The Declaration of Independence was drafter on Hemp
~ Hemp was used for money in the 1800’s
For those of you who oppose “Legalized Hemp” out of ignorance, you’re about to get a history lesson, so don’t get your panties in a twizzle, most of the population who uses hemp oils and products are NOT drug pushers or abusers, in fact it is the total opposite. It’s all about being healthy.
The Drug Enforcement Administration will no longer be able to interfere with the interstate commerce of hemp products, which will be opening doors in massive proportions for banks, credit card companies, merchants services, e-commerce sites as well as advertising platforms doing business with U.S. Hemp companies.

Hemp has been grown for the last 12,000 years, “Cannabis” which is derived from Hemp was used as a primary medicine from the time frame of 1850 to 1936 for more than 100 illnesses and diseases in the United States, until it was removed due to political influences and the big bully on the streets known as Big Pharma.

It would appear we’ve been deprived of the many benefits of Hemp through the skipped generations of this plant force that our grandparents and great grandparents received in their daily food intake as a healthy source of magical compounds promoting homeostasis within the body’s known as the “ECS”- Endocannabinoid System, it is within this complex communication system of our body where the promise and prospect of treating severe physical, emotional, and mental conditions start to mend as the body communicates with the magical properties of the plant based Hemp product which contains at least 85 healing Cannabinoids.
Cannabis which is derived from Hemp contains at least 85 “Cannabinoids” and it is here where the true communication process between our body and it’s receptors are switched on and the body is set to heal itself.
Many of these Cannabinoids have documented medical value and treat various symptoms associated with eating/gastrointestinal disorders, pain, mood, sleeping disorders, neurological disorders and other medical ailments and conditions.
What are “Cannabinoids”? “They are a class of diverse chemical compounds that act on cannabinoid receptors in the brain. CBD is the abbreviation for cannabidiol, the cannabinoid second only to THC when it comes to average volume. Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of at least 85 active cannabinoids identified in cannabis that has significant medical benefits. The “endocannabinoid system” is a group of endogenous cannabinoid receptors located in the mammalian brain and throughout the central and peripheral nervous systems.”
Did you know that only 13 % of Medical schools in the U.S. mention the “Endocannabinoid System” in their curriculum?
Administrative staff at over 150 U.S. Colleges of Medicine were asked about the extent to which the endocannabinoid system is included in their school’s curriculum, the answers ranged from cautiously open minded to downright ignorant, while only 1 in 8 Medical Schools even mentions the ECS in required coursework, not a single medical college in America offers a dedicated course to the most extensive system in all of mammal biology.
There are over 20,000 published empirical studies on cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system of mammals, they suggest that CBD products be taken daily to support normal ECS function.
We need to revamp the history in our schools and universities to educate upcoming professionals on the true ethnicity and marvels of this diversified and sophisticated product.
Move over Big Pharma, God’s natural bounty is coming back and duking it out with you, it is upon information and belief that the more Cannabis products we take in daily, the healthier we will be.
According to the National Cancer Institute “Cannabinoids appear to kill tumor cells but do not affect their nontrans-formed counterparts and may even protect them from cell death.”
