The concept of limits is very uncomfortable for many people; they don’t like to be told no. We create laws to limit human behavior that is destructive or causes harm to others. We limit our freedoms at airports to protect us from people who would kill us on airplanes. In this way, limits actually help us.
But should we have limits on tolerance of human behavior? If so, how do we decide what behaviors can be allowed, and what to limit? Can this affect our view of tolerance? These and more questions will be explored in this episode.
