William Thomas is not allowed in the female locker room at Penn State, but as Lia Thomas, he is allowed. Apparently, all Thomas had to do was change his name and say he is transgender, and just like that, he was granted all the privileges as any other female swimmer on the Penn State Swim team. Quiet as it’s kept, not all the female swimmers are accepting of a biological male walking around naked in the locker room. And they have complained that perhaps he should have his own changing space, but those complaints are seemingly falling on deaf ears.
Christopher Tremoglie of the Washington Examiner returns to “After Dark” to discuss his latest piece in The Examiner on the escapades of a male (William Thomas, who is now Lia Thomas) in a female locker room. Tremoglie first wrote about Thomas after Penn State female swimmers complained that William was breaking NCAA swimming records due to his advantage being a male swimmer competing against women. Adding insult to injury, the female swimmers are now having to share the same locker room with Thomas. While it is not known if Thomas has had his genitalia removed, what is known is that he still dates females.
Tremoglie, who was an intern for the State Department in Russia, also weighs in on the war in Ukraine. Initially, he said, he thought Putin would not invade the country. He says he doubts the Russian president would have invaded if Trump was in office.
