Let’s face it, most of us like sausage, but we’re not interested in how it is made. In the same way, most of us are not interested in how legislation and public policy are made. But our ignorance about what is being done in our name is not only irresponsible, but dangerous. Today we’ll take a look at some of what has been put in the sausage of recent legislation. But it’s not just “must-pass” legislation that gets stuffed with poison.
Recent news about how the Biden administration plans to enact their mandates and coercive policies shows our future may look more like East Germany than the United States. Sadly, it’s not just the federal government that does these things. Texas’ racist policy involving the administration of monoclonal antibodies is yet another example of how our complacency leads to real-world harm. If we don’t do something now, we may not recognize the America our children grew up in.
