Imagine if every forecast your stockbroker made was wrong, and all he did was lose your money. Only a fool would continue to trust him. Yet that is exactly what governments around the world are doing with climate change policy. With the exception of one Russian model, which was fully “tuned” and accidentally matched observational data, not a single computerized climate model has come even close to what we measure in the real world. Yet, pushed by United Nations bureaucrats, it is these hopelessly flawed computer models that are the sole “scientific” basis underlying billion-dollar decisions the Biden administration, the Trudeau government, and indeed governments around the world are making with respect to climate change.
To help our audience understand these issues, we have invited Dr. Patrick J. Michaels, past president of the American Association of State Climatologists and former program chair for the Committee on Applied Climatology of the American Meteorological Society, to be our guest this week. Dr. Michaels was a research professor of Environmental Sciences at the University of Virginia for 30 years. He also was a contributing author and a reviewer of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Dr. Michaels has been published in major scientific journals, including Climate Research, Climatic Change, Geophysical Research Letters, Journal of Climate, Nature, and Science, as well as in popular serials worldwide. He is the author or editor of eight books on climate and its impact and is also a Senior Fellow at the CO2 Coalition and the Competitive Enterprise Institute.
Tune in this week to learn how the world has been tricked into believing that we are in the midst of a “climate emergency” through blind faith in computerized climate models that don’t work.
