“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority; still, more when you superadd the tendency of the certainty of corruption by authority.” – Lord Acton.
These quotes tell us something we already know, both money and power can be dangerous influences. But what happens when you’re dealing not only with money OR power but money AND power? The outcome can truly be described as catastrophic. Sadly, both money and power and centralized in America today, and the cost to We the People, is great indeed. From the looming recession to the multitude of shortages, and from transgenderism to abortion, we are seeing the whirlwind of the American people not only allowing money and power to be centralized in government and large corporations but the fact that, basically, we asked for it.
