Army First Lt. Clint Lorance & Military Justice Reform – President Donald Trump granted clemency to three military figures embroiled in charges of war crimes, saying the move will give troops “the confidence to fight” without worrying about potential legal overreach. Clint Lorance who in August 2013 was found guilty on two counts of second-degree murder for ordering soldiers in his platoon to open fire at three men on a motorcycle in southern Afghanistan in July 2012.
