The images coming out of Ukraine are horrific. Entire cities are being leveled to the ground. People are being killed and injured by the hundreds, and the number keeps growing by the day. All of this is happening at the hands of a mad man, Vladimir Putin. Putin, a man who was in essence permitted by Joe Biden to invade the sovereign nation as long as it was a small excursion. The world now sees the aftermath of Joe granting Putin permission to move in on Ukraine, and it has been disastrous. It is unbelievable to think a world leader would have given the green light to such carnage. Meanwhile, Biden retreats to the basement of his Delaware mansion on weekends as the world watches the devastation.
The hosts of “After Dark” and their guest Bebe Diamond are looking at the events in Ukraine and are baffled how the Biden Administration got it all wrong, and the media isn’t holding him accountable. Yet, despite all that is happening, they are against American troops being put on the ground to fight. Granted, they are concerned for the Ukrainian people and do support humanitarian efforts, but to involve our boys and girls any further would be a mistake. They feel that anything other than humanitarian efforts to assist the Ukrainians would undoubtedly cause the war to escalate beyond Ukraine and could possibly open the door to a more serious conflict with Russia. So all we can do now is watch, wait and pray.
Bebe Diamond is an advocate for the re-building of the black family, as she has seen the devastation of the fatherless generation up close and personal. Her passion for the black family has led her to start a ministry and non-profit aimed at helping the broken black man, whom she says is the cornerstone of the black family. In addition to the ministry, Diamond is the assistant to Barbara From Harlem, a nationally recognized speaker and author who has been dubbed the godmother of the black conservative movement. Diamond wrote the introduction to Barbara From Harlem’s compelling and inspirational memoir “Escaping the Racism of Low Expectations.”
