Omicron On the Move
Mass vaccination is driving the emergence of mutant strains that have learned to thrive among those with limited immunity bestowed by the COVID-19 vaccines. Omicron, the latest variant, has such a mutated sequence for the Spike protein that the existing PCR tests have an “S-gene” dropout, meaning the nucleic acid sequence for this component of the PCR is not recognized.
Thus, for the first time, the PCR test alone will give a signal for this variant, while the prior variants all worked to generically turn the PCR test positive when SARS-CoV-2 was in the oral or nasal samples. In this issue of the Report, we give the first modeling analysis of Omicron and its anticipated transmissibility based on the S1 receptor binding domain mutations.
Fortunately, these preliminary analyses suggest lower transmissibility than for Delta. This means if Omicron supplants Delta as the predominant strain, we may see the first turn for the crisis where cases could wind down. Alternatively, Omicron could develop its own ecological niche, as did the lambda and epsilon variants, without making a dent in the delta dominance worldwide. Within a few short weeks, Omicron has been detected in dozens of countries around the globe, and it’s far too late for flight restrictions or new contagion control measures.
This week, Dr. McCullough was out in the media with commentary we will share with you from the major TV networks on Omicron and additional developments. We have a wonderful and exceptional guest for this week’s Report in Dr. Mark McDonald, who is one of the most recognized psychiatrists in the world and first time on The McCullough Report. Dr. McDonald introduces his new book, “UNITED STATES OF FEAR: How America Fell Victim to a Mass Delusional Psychosis.”
This interview will follow on nicely after a prior show we had concerning mass formation (psychosis), which is an explanation of how large populations are participating in mass vaccination as an absurd solution to the pandemic since the vaccines do not stop transmission and have astronomical risks for hospitalization, disability, and death. With mass psychosis, there is blind acceptance of a solution from authoritative bodies without any discernment in risk or reward. Similar psychological processes have occurred in mass cult suicides.
So let’s get real, let’s get loud, on America Out Loud Talk Radio, this is The McCullough Report!
The McCullough Report: Sat/Sun 2 PM ET Encore 7 PM – Internationally recognized Dr. Peter A. McCullough, known for his iconic views on the state of medical truth in America and around the globe, pierces through the thin veil of mainstream media stories that skirt the significant issues and provide no tractable basis for durable insight. Listen on iHeart Radio, our world-class media player, or our free apps on Apple, Android, or Alexa.
