Children are vulnerable, physically, emotionally, and mentally. The distractions parents have in everyday life are endless. Whether it’s work, social media, domestic issues, or “me time,” we are giving our children the message that we don’t have time for them. We can correlate an increase in these distractions with an increase in child exploitation.

Your child does not have to be kidnapped for them to be exploited; it could be happening right now from their very own bedroom. Statistics link single-family homes and foster children to an increased percentage of child sex trafficking and exploitation of minors. This can range from babies to 18-year-olds.

A multi-billion-dollar industry profits from the unbelievable acts involving missing children. This industry is fueled by the very people claiming to protect children. Join us in speaking with Kathleen Winn about her incredible work at recovering these missing children, which doesn’t always come with a happy ending.

Kathleen Winn is a woman of many talents. She began her journey with missing children when she worked for the Attorney General’s office until 2015. After this, she started her own non-profit organization, Project 25, where she dedicated her own money and time to ending child trafficking.

  • Kami Moreno, RN & Emily Thoms, RN/Paramedic

Emily Thoms is a wife, mother of one, and RN/Paramedic. Emily was a first responder for 10 years before adventuring to nursing school. She is currently an RN and educator for her small community in Arizona. During her nursing school journey she was faced with the vaccination mandates and the possibility of not finishing her program. Despite this, she and her classmate Kami, overcame their school's discrimination and coercion and won the fight in federal court. Because of the barriers she faced during nursing school, she was made aware of the extreme division the mandates created, and the lack of truth surrounding them. Through this awareness and her own medical journey, Emily has become fascinated with holistic care and the lack of its recognition or application in the medical field/schooling. Kamaleilani (Kami) Moreno-RN - A Native American-Navajo Tribe, and Native Hawaiian; wife, mother of 3, proud Christian and advocate for medical Freedom. Kami currently works as a PACU nurse and is working on her Master’s in Nursing degree. When Kami was in her final semester of her RN program, her school mandated the Covid vaccines and denied all exemptions. This put Kami and many others at risk of not being able to finish their program. Kami and another nursing student, Emily Thoms, fought back against their school’s intimidation and discrimination and were victorious in Federal Court. After experiencing the divisiveness and untruth-fullness surrounding vaccines, treatments, and protocols, Kami has made it a priority to defend individual autonomy and become a voice for those that feel bullied or voiceless. She believes that medical care should be individualized, holistic, and centered around whole-person care, as opposed to a one-size fits all approach.
