“Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s going to beat ’em all?” grinned a relieved Joe Biden after the miraculous recovery of his moribund campaign. I certainly hope quid pro Joe doesn’t believe his own propaganda after the South Carolina Democrat primary. The Democrats presume the large black vote in SC is theirs for the asking as it has always been, but they miss the Trump promotional whirlwind sucking up black votes, going on all around them.
Trump is changing the voting dynamic in so many small ways. He’s appealing to all Americans of African descent with his accomplishments that have actually bettered their lot socially and economically, not with decades of Democrat promises that haven’t. There is a new game in town and it’s called: “Trump the Democrats.” Trump is challenging the nation’s black voters, based on the record of his promises kept, to think Republican, or better, think Trump.
Realistically, South Carolina is probably Joe’s last hurrah! He got enough votes from all sources to win the states Democrat delegates but not enough from the black diaspora to have done it alone. There is a serious flaw in his reasoning and while Joe spends his subsequent air time on cable friendly news shows, he bumbles around looking for intelligent answers to simple questions, most of which are to correct his previous bumbling answers.
At least Joe didn’t claim he was under sniper fire in Bosnia like another Democrat politician once did. Joe has no history of achievement outside of the Congress that he can brag about so, he must invent his stories. Now he finds himself in the unenviable position of having to publicly correct “misstatements,” statements taken out of context, and outright lies.
Joe has resided in the fairy tale land of Aesop’s fables for so long he doesn’t know when the fables end and true life begins.
Among some of Joe’s many cringe-worthy comments was his tough guy routine he took wanting to take Trump behind the barn and punch him up. Trump snickered because Joe probably hasn’t been out of a suit except to go to bed, his entire adult life. Braggadocio like that is exactly what get’s tough guys punched in the nose.
As bewildered Joe blunders verbally along not knowing where he’s at, what office he’s running for, the current state of our technology, anything about guns, threatening to beat people up, laughing that he got a prosecutor in the Ukraine fired for investigating an energy company his son Hunter was looting as a board member, and on and on, that it must be apparent that Joe’s verbal gaffes must have something to do with his birth certificate. Maybe the mirror was lying.
The media downplayed Biden’s position in SC until he actually pulled out a his first primary victory. They cannot abide Bernie Sanders as their candidate but just imagine bumbling Joe as President. Not a good picture, but Sanders would be worse. With Sanders out, and if Joe wins, watch how fast Obama’s cadre of Communist commissars descends on the White House to make sure Joe tows Obama’s line.
The next thought is to realize that Joe was only a figurehead and Obama was back in the drivers sea, the wizard behind the curtain. That probably won’t happen, but poor ol’ Joe is the best they’ve got to challenge Donald Trump. The mirror lied!
In the end, what we’re witnessing is the Party’s last ditch attempt to save itself.
If it goes with Sanders, the Democrat Party is done for. If the Democrats can take Sanders out by a rigged vote system at their convention, the hounds of hell will swarm up out of their sewers and attack every breathing organism that stands in their way. You can bet on it!
