First, we need to ask the question, will Democrat politicians follow their constituency and leave the Democrat Party?

The Hill ran a headline, reporting on the Gallup Poll, US shifted from Democratic preference to Republican in 2021.

In the first quarter of last year 2021, 49 percent of Americans said they identified as a Democrat or a lean-Democratic independent, while 40 percent said they were a Republican or a lean-Republican independent, pollsters found. But over the course of the year, the percentage of those identifying with the left started to decrease, while more people began to align themselves with the right.

The percentage of Americans who identified as Democrats or lean-Democratic independents remained steady at 49 percent in the second quarter, while more Americans said they were Republicans or lean-Republican independents, increasing from 40 percent to 43 percent. Democrats saw a drop of 4 percentage points in the third quarter, falling to 45 percent, while Republicans continued to increase their base, gaining 1 more percentage point to bring them to 44 percent.

By the fourth quarter of last year, more Americans said they identified with the right compared to the left, 47 percent to 42 percent.

That’s big! It confirms that more and more Americans are not happy with Joe Biden’s and the Socialist Democrat Party’s policies.

Democrat strategist James Carville said members of his party “whine too much” as he urged them to “gloat about their successes leading into the 2022 midterm elections.”

What successes is Carville alluding to?

“Just quit being a whiny party and get out there and fight and tell people what you did, and tell people the exact truth,” Carville said on Meet the Press, “Soldier on. You had a bad week, but you had a good year. People, at the end of the day, are going to judge you on your year and not your week. And this is a tough, hard business. And you’ve got ups and downs. You get bruised, you get beat up,” Carville said.

Had a good year?!?

There’s a great deal to unpack there. You best pull up a chair and listen in, we have work to do!

Oh, one last thing. This headline in the New York Times is telling: House Democratic Retirements Pile Up as Party Fears Losing Majority.

The NYT reports, “As of January 2022, 41 members of the U.S. House—have announced they will not seek re-election. 26 representatives—have announced their retirement. Of the retiring House members, 20 are Democrats and six are Republicans. Democrats face an uphill battle to retain control of Congress.
