Never in modern medicine have we ever considered mass vaccination of children with an investigational biologic product that has no proven efficacy or safety. Major medical centers and community hospitals were so fearful that they never attempted to treat outpatients and families that fell ill with COVID-19. Fortunately, independent practices picked up where the ivory tower failed and cared for millions of Americans, helping them avoid hospitalization and death.
The American Association of Physicians and Surgeons and the Front-Line Critical Care Consortium became the two major sources of medical leadership during the pandemic, which is clearly on the way out. Children were largely spared from the crisis with self-limited syndromes that required no treatment and minimal time away from activities.
Fortunately, studies demonstrated that children could not asymptomatically spread the virus. Looking back, the schools never needed to be closed. There were never any school outbreaks nor significant rates of a student to teacher transmission. In some cities, the private schools held in-person classes while public schools closed and converted to distance learning.

The correct path was no shutdown of schools, no masking of children, and a courageous early treatment program for higher risk adults or those presenting with severe symptoms.
Now the issue of vaccination has been brought forward for children with limited studies demonstrating COVID-19 antibodies after vaccination. These registrational studies for the mRNA vaccines demonstrated no clinical benefit. Conversely, data from the VAERS system demonstrates that more children will be harmed with the mRNA vaccines than will benefit from immunization against SARS-CoV-2.
In the end, it appears that the vaccine stakeholders: Pfizer, Moderna, JNJ, NIH, CDC, FDA; those entities that stand to benefit from a “needle-in-every-arm” want children to become vaccinated not for the benefit of the children, but for the perceived protection of others.
Never in medicine have doctors allowed others to be harmed for the benefit of others. Each and every parent and healthcare provider should honor the fiduciary relationship every child deserves with trust in their parents and healthcare providers. For some of the adverse effects already described in children, there is no second chance.
