Pride Month, a month-long “celebration” contrived to promote every conceivable sexual behavior, orientation, and identity (except the one on which families are built), has yet to officially begin as of this writing. And yet it has already been the subject of multiple,...
“Protest against the national anthem and a “F you” to the Trump Admin”
There’s been a surge of controversy over the women’s American soccer team and the FIFA Women’s World Cup Championship. While the team was in the spirit of celebrating their historic win on the soccer field, teammate Allie Long dropped the American flag to celebrate with teammates, Kelly O’Hara wearing jersey #5 and her American flag code of conduct, swooped in for the rescue, patriots around the country watched this unfold as Kelly O’Hara was named the MVP of the Women’s World Cup by people in the social media and fans alike, calling her a true champion on and off the field. We all know the American flag should never touch the ground!
Simultaneously, there’s been a trend of comments flying all over the media, twitter, facebook and other news sites, complaining about the character of some of the U.S. women soccer players lack of sportsmanship and etiquette on the soccer field, mentions of a few of the players counting their goals openly, dancing, and showing blatant disregard and verbal disrespect for standing for the national anthem.
U.S. Soccer Policy 604-1. The policy reads: “All persons representing a Federation national team shall stand respectfully during the playing of national anthems at any event in which the Federation is represented.”
The women’s soccer teammate and Co-Captain Megan Rapinoe, a talented athlete who scores a lot of points for the team; openly gay and a civil rights activists; blasted the policy as “blanketed patriotism” and cowardly.”
Okay Megan, what ever that means in lib talk, are you joking me? Now this is really starting to look like the domestic terrorists from within found themselves a new spokesperson and huckleberry.
In her contempt, she did state for the record, “I’ll probably never put my hand over my heart,” she told Yahoo Sports. “I’ll probably never sing the national anthem again.” she considered herself to be a walking protest when it comes to the Trump administration.”
Yet, in spite of it all, Megan considers herself to being a very patriotic American. In contradiction, she also called herself a one woman protest against the national anthem and a “F you” to the Trump administration.
Adding, “I feel like it’s kind of defiance in and of itself to just be who I am and wear the jersey, and represent it,” she said. “Because I’m as talented as I am, I get to be here, you don’t get to tell me if I can be here or not. So, it’s kind of a good “F you” to any sort of inequality or bad sentiments that the (Trump) administration might have towards people who don’t look exactly like him. Which, God help us if we all looked like him. Scary. Really Scary, Ahh, disturbing.”
What’s truly disturbing are the entitled and egotistical attitudes with latitude by some of these American athletes and their radically unapologetic manner, and unfiltered comments and actions, she and others have distorted their facts through lack of knowledge, judgement and history while weaponizing their anger towards President Trump.
As patriotic Americans, we have learned through the course of history, that America is the home of the free because of the brave, as the many generations before us have fought and sacrificed to protect and preserve our Constitution, our people and our land.
We are ingrained with pride and honor when saluting our flag and stand out of respect for the national anthem at events, as our flag is a powerful symbol and reminder of all the valorous souls who served our great nation in every uniform.
As a Veteran myself, and Gold Star Mother who’s Marine son’s casket was draped with our American Flag⏤this red, white and blue remnant of cloth holds more symbolism and meaning to me⏤than the bickering and insults that ensue when disrespectful people dishonor our American values.
All too often, we witness a disregard for our flag and national anthem⏤it’s as though we are personally assaulted and the painful emotional wounds we carry so deeply at the seat of our soul becomes a reopened gash.
Any American who tramples on our flag, not only violates and dishonors our moral code and American legacy, but castrates themselves from being regarded as a true American.`
Let me remind you, President Trump does not own our country, our flag or anthem, he is not your problem or a problem for women or gay people, yet he is a great supporter and a champion for ALL AMERICANS.
He is the President of the United States of America and deserves respect, let me also remind you that not many cared for the likes of Barack Obama, yet respected the office of the Presidency, and Obama is the reason why Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States, voted in by the silent majority, and the masses are silent no longer, by the way Megan, did you ever catch a glimpse of the numbers at Trump’s rally’s across the nation….Into the tens of thousands that wrap miles around street corners, with growing numbers of people everyday, yes 2020 is looking sweet for President Trump’s re-election.
In one of Megan’s statements she mentions the work she and her teammates do for the world is important. Megan, a simple reminder, you’re a woman’s soccer player wearing jersey #15, not an American hero on the battlefield wearing battle-rattle.
If anything, she gives credence to entertaining the tainted viewpoints and acceptance of the Lefts most obtuse members of Congress and their Anti American stance over visiting the White House and the President of the free world.
Sorry Megan and teammates, Schumer, Pelosi and the gang sold you out, you may be an athlete but you fell victim to their prey of their dismantling.
Let me remind you Megan, your soccer field is not liken to a battlefield, your points scored are not bullets against the enemy, you are not American valor, your sports players and entertainers, taking fans on a few hour vacation from real life played out with a soccer ball and viewed on jumbotrons and televised throughout bars and homes across the globe, this does not make you so important that you can disrespect the very essence and traditions of what being an American is about.
Here’s a proposition for you Megan, how about you forfeit your meeting with the Congressional domestic terrorists and sit down for a few hours for a pow wow with Veterans and Gold Star Family members, we can show you a good time off the soccer field, even school you while we bridge the communication gap you have going on inside of your indoctrinated mind.
True sportsmanship and leadership is a reflection of character, it’s excellence not only in the sport, yet the sport of being an outstanding human being and mentor without bias, disrespect towards one country, flag, national anthem and President, holds no merit here.
Exceptionalism doesn’t condemn and bastardize the American traditions that created this country, that’s a distorted notion by the left commies and traitors.
The socialist Left destroys and disrespects American exceptionalism, so don’t blame President Donald Trump who has been diligently cleaning up the carnage and after mass of the destructive treasonous traitor #44, and his predecessors before him who were nothing but domestic terrorists, furthermore, you mirror this group of Anti Americans by aligning yourself with the Democratic members of Congress and their political and gender bating tactics, using you as a sports icon pawn.
Although Congratulations are in order for your win on the soccer field for the world championship cup⏤your attitude and behavior have cost you the heart and soul of many Americans.
Patriots are disgusted and livid over the intolerable disrespect you have exhibited for our flag, our nation and our President.
Let us remind you that President Trump has done more in the last two and a half years then Obama did in eight years, this includes putting more women in the work force and people of all colors, sexual preferences and religions have enjoyed a more quality lifestyle due to the changes in this positive administration for all Americans.
Megan, I’m confused as I saw you in the parade in New York city and in the company of the socialist elite, Governor Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio, to my shocking surprise you were surrounded by the American flags, so why would you not honor your country back with the same respect you are shown?
Maybe you should take your own advice as stated “We have to be better. We have to love more, hate less. We’ve got to listen more and talk less. We’ve got to know that this is everybody’s responsibility…It’s our responsibility to make the world a better place.”
“I believe our flag is more than just cloth and ink. It is a universally recognized symbol that stands for liberty, and freedom. It is the history of our nation, and it’s marked by the blood of those who died defending it.” John Thune – Image: AP and Shutterstock
