And I’m proud to be an American. Where at least I know I’m free. And I won’t forget the men who died. Who gave that right to me. And I’d gladly stand up next to you. And defend Her still today. ’Cause, there ain’t no doubt. I love this land.
God Bless the U.S.A. Lee Melvin Greenwood
America the beautiful. With all its faults and flaws, America is still the greatest country in the world, and its’ people make it that way. While the country doesn’t always get it right, it strives to be a more perfect union. It is a country many around the world seek to come to in search of the American dream. A country where many immigrants from different countries legally come and make a home. A country that many have shed blood for so that its citizens can pursue life and happiness.
In his farewell address, President Ronald Reagan described America “as a shining city upon a hill whose beacon light guides freedom-loving people everywhere.”
May God Bless America.
