This week I have been covering the Rage Against the War Machine Rally in DC. I wrap up coverage today with interviews with several people who traversed from afar in order to have their voices heard. There is a long history of people gathering in the nation’s capital to address their concerns. I enjoyed hearing their stories of why they committed to long plane flights and car rides.
I end my show today with an interview with Diane Sare. She worked alongside controversial political figure, Lyndon Larouche for over 30+ years. Before I traveled to DC, people claimed there would be anti-Semitic people speaking. Was this because of the connection with the LaRouche Organization? It is my hope to invite Diane to a future show to address these concerns head-on.
When I began my preparation for my interviews, I was unaware of Sare’s political background. It was not until I returned home that I learned more. In future shows, I plan to address this as I become better educated in regard to the LaRouche Organization.
