There’s no polite way to put this. Neo-Marxist, anti-White, racist ideology has infected our children’s education, through their schools, teachers, school boards, and radical progressive community activists.
And, yes, I’m talking about the cankerous infection of Critical Race Theory (CRT) across America.
While many may participate in crafting and delivering our children’s education, make no mistake, the responsibility for all aspects of our children’s education belongs to you and me; it belongs to parents. Educational decisions are an unalienable right passed down from time immemorial.
All decisions concerning a child’s education belong to parents. These rights never have and never will belong to teachers, schools, school boards, teachers unions, state’s boards of education or to the Federal Department of Education.
Teaching the tenets of critical race theory as fact is against the law. Demanding that students and teachers conduct themselves in all school affairs under the dictates of CRT violates the Title VI and Title IX of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. We’re also learning that schools and school systems’ use of CRT as a forced method of school conduct also creates a “racially hostile environment,” not to mention the unforgivable damage it does to impressionable young and growing minds.
Critical Race Theory has no educational merit in K-12 classrooms.
When school systems, schools, or solo teachers endeavor to inculcate their personal politics, ideology, or religious views on children, we must step in and say “No”! Stop! For if we don’t speak up, then who will?
Parents and even teachers are pushing back on CRT. They’re organizing and educating themselves on not only the evils and dangers of CRT, but they’re going to federal court and winning.
Our nation’s 4th grade and 8th-grade students’ standardized math and reading comprehension scores have remained flat over the last 20 years. There’s been no improvement in years, and the gap between high performers and low performers widens more each year.
Frankly, it’s embarrassing for a nation that spends $721 billion a year on grades K-12 or $15,000 per pupil for 9 months for mediocre outcomes. Critical race theory has never improved one student’s math or reading ability, but it surely has the potential to cripple young minds.
This is not the time to change course from reading, writing, and arithmetic, to reading, rioting, and racism.
In this episode of The Frankly Daniel Show, I share the story of a white grade school drama teacher and a black mother of a white-skinned, bi-racial son as they pick up the sword to combat powerful schools and school systems in search of equality under the law. This is an episode you’ll not want to miss!
