With everything seemingly being political nowadays, who would have thought that even the Ronald McDonald House would be in the mix? Well, Chris Tremoglie, our guest on “After Dark with Rob and Andrew,” had thought the same until he found out differently. Recently he was canceled (fired) by the charity organization for speaking out against the baseless attacks on white men accused of violence against Asian Americans.
Tremoglie, an independent journalist, said he was surprised he was let go having volunteered there since 2015. He explained that his comments merely gave factual statistics on the attacks and made a social media posting completely unrelated to his job as a volunteer. When asked if he would ever work with the charity again, he paused… Tune in to “After Dark…” for his answer and what he feels should happen to Ronald McDonald and others who are canceling individuals in society for free thinking.
Christopher Tremoglie graduated cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania, a double major in Political Science and Russian and East European Studies. He is a 3-time recipient of a Keystone Press Award. His words have appeared in The Philadelphia Inquirer, Broad + Liberty, The Northeast Times, National Review, Washington Examiner, and Daily Caller. He was named a Philadelphia Person of the Year in 2020 by Dom Giordano.
