I guess we should give Joe credit for warning us exactly what to expect when he promised on the campaign trail, “If I am your next president, I am going to build on the squeaky clean transparent environment we had in the Obama Biden White House.”
Either he has forgotten that not-so-hygienic history (which, given his cognitively challenged state is entirely plausible), or perhaps he is hoping that we have.
So, let’s briefly highlight some reminders.
Interference with Ukraine’s Burisma Prosecution
While serving as the Obama administration’s lead Ukraine representative, then-Vice President Joe Biden publicly bragged about threatening to hold back $1 billion in U.S. military aid if the government didn’t fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin who was investigating corruption of the oil company Burisma where his son Hunter was being paid as a no-show board member.
Despite multiple official State Department notifications to Biden’s office warning of national security concerns, Joe Biden has incredulously claimed to know nothing of Hunter’s various foreign business dealings.

That disclaimer was further contradicted by an email from a Burisma executive discovered on Hunter’s laptop thanking him for “giving an opportunity to meet” his father.

Biden Family Chinese Business Influence Profiteering
Less than two weeks after accompanying his father on an official 2013 visit to China aboard Air Force Two, Hunter inked a $1.5 billion investment deal with the Communist state-owned Bank of China on behalf of a private equity firm he had established in 2009 with Christopher Heinz, the stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry.
The transaction was accomplished through Bohai Harvest RST (BHR), a company where again, as with Burisma, Hunter served on its board. A BHR representative reported in July 2019 that Hunter had introduced his father to Chinese private equity executive Jonathan Li during the trip who later became BHR’s CEO.
A Financial Business Cut for the “Big Guy”
Another enormously troubling Chinese incident following Joe Biden’s final term as vice president involved Hunter’s May 2017 dealings with CEFC, a now-defunct Shanghai-based energy company with broadly known Communist government and military ties which was later bankrupted following U.S. government money laundering charges.
An email from Hunter’s partner James Gilliar proposes that “the big guy” – confirmed to be Joe Biden – receive 10% of the venture’s equity.
Although a private citizen at the time, it was already clear that Joe was considering a presidential run, and that such transparent influence-peddling transactions and relationships would deeply compromise his ability to represent America in tough dealings with China and other foreign economic and military adversaries.
Obama-Biden Trump Spying/FISA Court Abuses
Obama-Biden administration spying on the 2016 Trump campaign prior to inauguration soon developed into a major post-election Deep State effort to undermine and terminate his presidency.
During an early January 2017 Oval Office discussion, then Vice President Biden reportedly suggested justifying investigations of incoming Trump Security Advisor Lt. General Michael Flynn based upon an obscure 1799 “Logan Act.”
All of this was premised upon a bogus “dirty dossier” sponsored and funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign through which the DOJ and FBI obtained Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act “FISA” court warrants falsely alleging evidence of “Russian collusion.” A much-hyped and costly 22-month-long Mueller special council investigation turned up nothing whatsoever to support the charges.
The Radioactive Uranium One Sale of US Nuclear Fuel
A far more likely Russian collusion scandal involved the Obama-Biden era 2013 sale of 20 percent of U.S. uranium nuclear fuel production capacity (including nuclear weapons) to Rosatom, a Russian state-owned company, through a Canadian intermediary company now called Uranium One.
The agreement was approved by nine government agencies with the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), an inter-agency group that reviews how certain foreign investments can impact national security. The State Department under Hillary Clinton was one of those agencies.
Some of the Uranium One investors reportedly donated millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation. Former President Bill Clinton also received a $500,000 speaking fee in Russia and reportedly met with Vladimir Putin around the time of the deal.
The Fast and Furious Illegal Weapons Sale to Mexico
Obama-Biden administration Attorney General Eric Holder and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) ran a series of failed sting operations that sent two thousand firearms across the Mexican border in hopes of tracking them to drug cartel leaders and arresting them.
The plan instead resulted in increased violence and death of Mexicans and Americans, including United States Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry who was killed by one of those guns.
The Obama White House stonewalled the investigation into what happened, asserting executive privilege in withholding documents requested by Congress. AG Holder was held in contempt of Congress in a bipartisan vote for obstructing the investigation.
Weaponizing the IRS Against Conservative Non-Profits
In 2013, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) was caught selecting conservative non-profit organizations for additional intensive scrutiny. This led to the wide condemnation of the agency and triggered several investigations, including an FBI criminal probe.
According to FOIA documents obtained by Judicial Watch, there was evidence of White House involvement where IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman met with Obama officials 157 times when his agency was targeting Tea Party groups – more often than the administration’s cabinet members did. Some IRS employees even claimed that the president directly requested the political crackdowns.
The IRS was also exchanging confidential taxpayer information with the White House the year Obama and Biden were reelected.
So, there we have it…no corruption to see here.
Or at least there won’t be if a Biden White House and Democrat-controlled House and Senate Judiciary Committees make certain that all investigations cease.
