Shock and awe hit the ground running on June 12, 2021, as the devastating news of a true American Journalist, Christopher Sign, was discovered dead in his home in Hoover, Alabama. Police were called shortly after 8 am on June 12 and called it a suicide until fully investigated.

He was a 45-year-old devoted husband and father of three sons, and was a highly regarded, ethically sound news reporter and author of the book “Secret on the Tarmac” regarding the agenda and secret meeting between former President Bill Clinton and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Discovered and recruited out of high school and prepped for college football by coach Gene Stallings, who became a lifelong friend and mentor, Sign came from an Alabama football family. He met his wife Laura at the University of Alabama they raised three sons.

Sign has always credited Coach Gene Stallings for planting the mustard seed of becoming a journalist because of his never-ending quest for questioning everything. You may remember hearing about the Alabama college football player turned Emmy Award journalist who broke one of the most damning and breaking political stories.

New details emerge from Clinton-Lynch clandestine tarmac meeting

In 2019, Journalist Christopher Sign published his book, titled “Secret On The Tarmac,” about the private meeting between former President Bill Clinton and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch on her private plane.

His pristine journalism skills, and the collaboration with his private informant who furnished him with information from start to finish regarding this clandestine arrangement. What was to be a secret meeting between them on a Phoenix Arizona tarmac became known to all of America as an arranged meeting through Sign.

Though there may not have been cameras rolling, microphones echoing, prying eyes or inhibiting security sounding the alarms through this carefully crafted plan by the former president of the United States, Bill Clinton, to have arranged such a coincidence of a 20-minute meeting aboard the private jet of the United States Attorney General, Loretta Lynch.

The time frame was June 2016, Bill Clinton’s wife, HRC, was under the scrutiny of the feds, and being investigated for Benghazi and a secret email server, she was also campaigning for a seat in the office as the President of the United States, which escaped the comprehension by the average conservative American because alleged criminals should not be put into the office holding the highest power seat in the land.

The dastardly democrat duo thought they would get away with an attempted coverup. But Sign, a veteran journalist who questioned everything had announced the details openly on the news outlet, and in his book.

What Clinton and Lynch Really Discussed on the Tarmac

Years in the trenches building experience and networks of relationships gifted Christopher Sign with an unforgettable story, a revolutionary sweep for the good guys as the bad guys were showing their openly manipulated corruption.

It was shortly after the controversial story broke that Sign and his family began receiving death threats. Sign relocated his family back to Alabama from Phoenix, and endured a time frame of many personal dilemmas such as a series of hacked credit cards and other anomalies, which led him to set up a protection plan for his family. Code words were created to keep his wife and children safe along with cell phones in every room to call the police in case of any incident; this was when the teammates and coaches at the University of Alabama would rally around him in the name of protection.

The once college football player turned Emmy award-winning journalist who broke the most damning political story was now the unimagined target of the deep state and having to live out the reality over the past two years of safety and security measures for himself and his family. He had the opportunity to be a part of a national affiliate, but he put his family first and chose the lesser exposure opportunity that allowed him more time at home with his sons so he could see them off for school in the mornings, enjoy their sporting events and family and recreational time on the weekends.

Was this a man who would commit suicide and abandon his family at a time in need?

Former ABC15 reporter, anchor Christopher Sign passes away

During the past couple of decades, we’ve witnessed and documented far too many fatal and accidental attempts of domestic tyranny against key players in society who expose and illuminate injustice.

Journalist Christopher Sign was one of humanity’s catalysts for waking up a nation countless times. Sadly, we may never find out what facts truly transpired leading up to his death, but one thing is for sure, he was a man so in love with his family and career and created a successful world that he was so passionate about.

Christopher Sign was a hero; he was passionate about doing the right thing. He won an Emmy Award in 2014 for his news coverage about the shooting of two Phoenix officers. He also won an award for his coverage of a serial shooter who terrorized the city in 2016.

Christopher Sign was a man on a mission to leave the world in a better place.
