Spreading Hate and Racial Division Since 2009

Think about how far we have come as a nation. By 2008 America had pretty much discarded the last vestiges of racism that had been a part of our history since our nation’s founding.

We fought and won a civil war over the issue of slavery, but unfortunately, afterward many Black Americans continued to suffer discrimination through the post-Civil War reconstruction era, and well into the 20th century. Groups like the Ku Klux Klan refused to accept integration and committed numerous atrocities against Black Americans. Equal opportunity was nothing more than empty words for many Blacks trying to achieve the ‘American dream.’

But by 2008, this stain on America’s past had been long overcome. The overwhelming vast majority of Americans no longer looked at a person’s skin color or ethnicity as a measure of their character. The Ku Klux Klan and other racist extremists were viewed with disdain. The racial divide that had once existed had been spanned.

That is until Barack Hussein Obama burst out of nowhere onto the national scene. Almost immediately upon taking up residence in the White House, Barack Obama set about creating racial animosity and division with false claims of racism and racial disparity in all aspects of American life. He peddled a load of horse manure that unfortunately was echoed by a Democrat Party that is bereft of ideas, and always quickly resorts to their default position to attract votes – playing the race card.

Former President George W. Bush was quoted recently saying, “a malign force seems at work in our common life that turns every disagreement into an argument, and every argument into a clash of cultures. So much of our politics has become a naked appeal to anger, fear, and resentment that leaves us worried about our nation and our future together.”

The former president would do well to look where all that has come from. During his presidency, he was the target of vitriolic and hateful attacks from Democrats and their news media and Hollywood allies. And that “malign force” he mentions resides solely within the political left and the Democrat Party. It has actually existed for decades; democrats have never been known for respectful political discourse. But since Barack Hussein Obama entered the picture, it has become a cancer.

Personally, I’m offended by former President Bush’s comments. I’m one of those people who stepped up and risked it all for this country following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. I went to Iraq for three years because Bush told me Iraq posed a threat to America, and I fought the Islamic extremists there to help protect our country.

I also voted for Donald Trump for president, twice. Not because I liked everything about him, he used to tick me off at least once a day. But my first vote for Trump was a vote against the ruling class elites and the career politicians who have brought our country to where it is now. At war with itself, in debt for generations, and disrespected by our friends and enemies alike.

My second vote for Trump was based on his proven record of achievement on behalf of the American people, in spite of the constant barrage of attacks he had to fend off from Democrats and RINO Republicans. Just think of what he could have accomplished if Democrats had worked with him.

And now George W. Bush is comparing me and people like me to the same extremists that killed more than three thousand Americans on September 11, 2001. Perhaps Bush needs to be reminded that the only person killed during the January 6th protests that got out of hand in Washington was an unarmed female, an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force. Murdered by a gutless coward wearing a badge. An embarrassment to the law enforcement profession.

Indeed there are extremists here in this country that we need to be concerned with. They are the career politicians who stay in office for decades, an ‘extreme’ length of time for anyone to hold political office. And Barack Obama is an extremist. After all, he wants to “fundamentally transform” the United States. That’s pretty damned extreme if you ask me.

The only ones that are spreading hate are useful idiots like George W. Bush, and politicians that have the letter ‘D’ following their name. And they are being led by the America-hater in Chief, Barack Hussein Obama.
